Mental Capacity Act Training Opportunities
All safeguarding considerations and decisions for people aged 16+ years should take into account the legal requirements of the Mental Capacity Act, alongside other relevant pieces of legislation. Practitioners should have appropriate awareness of the Mental Capacity Act and the accompanying code of practice to comply with this important piece of legislation.
Practitioners and managers should consider how confident you/staff are with the Mental Capacity Act (MCA), with a view to taking advantage of regional learning and development opportunities to build knowledge and literacy around the MCA.
