Training

The Safeguarding Boards provide training courses for those working with and for children, young people and adults at risk across the region.

Our training is open to all South East Wales Local Authorities, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Police, Probation and any other appropriate social care organisation from the statutory or voluntary sectors working within the South East Wales area who provide services for children and families.

All of the Boards’ training is delivered to a multi-agency audience of professionals and volunteers.

Bitesize Learning

Bitesize Learning provides a brief introduction to a topic, followed by relevant links and signposting for multi-agency practitioners, who wish to build upon their understanding and knowledge of emerging ‘hot topics’ and themes for practice

National Safeguarding Week

National Safeguarding Week takes place in November each year and is a fantastic platform for learning, promoting and raising awareness amongst practitioners.
