Understanding Harmful Sexual Behaviour (24/10/2024)

Stop It Now! Wales is a child sexual abuse prevention project run by The Lucy Faithfull Foundation, a child protection charity.

Since 2008, we’ve been working across Wales to make sure children and young people are protected from adverse childhood experiences by preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation. Stop It Now! Wales works in partnership with the Welsh Government to make children, young people and community safer.

Understanding Harmful Sexual Behaviour

A session on understanding expected developmental healthy behaviours and inappropriate behaviour, how they can cause sexual harm or increase a child’s vulnerability, and effective ways of engaging children and young people to speak about possible abuse or harmful sexual behaviour.

Target Audience:

The sessions are aimed at multi agency practitioners involved in direct work with children and families.
