The National Referral Mechanism is a framework for identifying victims of exploitation and human trafficking and ensuring they receive the right support and protection.

Target Audience

All multi agency practitioners (registered / regulated or not) including volunteer roles, who have regular contact with children in their roles.

Aim

To raise awareness of the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and how children and young people can be vulnerable to exploitation, Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
