The Duty To Report (Form) Masterclasses are designed to upskill Group B and C practitioners who have never received any formal training on how to complete a DTR (previously MARF for children) for a suspected adult at risk. The session will support consideration of thresholds for safeguarding and completing DTR forms to a high standard. The session will address any gaps in practitioners knowledge or understanding around what information to include on the DTR form, how this information is used and what to expect after a DTR form has been submitted.

Aim: To be able to apply thresholds and prepare a detailed and accurate Safeguarding Report to enable effective reporting of safeguarding concerns, in turn reducing inappropriate referrals and delays in processing information and progressing safeguarding concerns in a timely manner.

Target Audience: Group B and C Health and Social Care Practitioners
